I grew up in the country. . I didn’t play any sports but was always active/working/swimming etc. I married my husband at 18 and when I gave birth to my first of 10 children, exercise/diet became a concern for the first time in my life. Balancing marriage, pregnancies, breastfeeding, births, new babies and homeschooling was challenging. I worked hard to stay healthy, but could never keep up on an exercise program or cut the excess sugar out of my diet. Until CrossFit! CrossFit has completely changed my life! Not only have I gained incredible strength, fitness, and lifelong friends, but also a passion for Coaching others along their journey!
My turning point was when I was 6 months postpartum after having my tenth child. I was sick of the same up and down cycle. I was 100 lbs heavier than when I got married and knew I NEEDED to prioritize my health if I wanted to continue to be there for my husband, children, family, and friends. I said “Enough is ENOUGH” and scheduled a “No Sweat Intro” with Josh Brown. One of the best decisions of my life!
My purpose for Coaching is simple. I love people. I want to help others live their BEST life. I want them to feel confident and strong like I do. I want to see them smile when they reach their goals (in, and out of the gym.) CrossFit is an incredible program that provides you with so many of the tools you need to get there! I know what it’s like to struggle, to want something so bad for your health and your life and just not be able to REACH it! Maybe it’s a lack of self-control, bad time management, not having a clue where to start, or just being absolutely OVERWHELMED! I’ve been there!
